1914 our summer campers at Camp Tulequoia (pronounced
"too la coy ah") have enjoyed an environment that encourages

to graduate from high school, we have camping programs for you, even

Family YMCA Skate Camp
We combine a progressive skate instruction program with a complete YMCA camp experience. Visalia YMCA Skate Camp is a skateboarders paradise sitting on beautiful Sequoia Lake. Top professional and amateur skaters from around the world provide skate instruction, demonstrations and workshops. Professionals from all aspects of the industry will share how they have taken their passion for skateboarding and turned it into fulfilling careers. From beginner to pro, our skate park will challenge and fulfill every skater! The Street Course features quarterpipes, flatbacks, and mini ramps ranging from 4 ft. to 7 ft. tall. We are introducing a 40 ft. wide and 12 ft. tall vert ramp layered in Skate-lite. This ramp was featured in 1999 ESPN events and was most recently shown at the Invert Carnival in Anaheim, California. Whether it is skating, hiking, swimming or canoeing, Sequoia Lake is waiting for you. You can even launch into the lake off of our special lake ramp. Location: Camp Millwood at Sequoia
Lake (just outside Kings Canyon National Park, off Hwy. 180) Deadline for reservations: Pre-registration, one week prior, is recommended. Registration accepted through the summer as space allows. Lasting
all day long, all summer long, we offer the benefits of a camping experience
during the day and children return home as night. Y Day Camp provides
many rewarding opportunities through action-packed activities, theme
days, and field trips. Children choose their own activities, which develop
creativity, personal growth, self-esteem, and leaderships skills. Campers
can choose from over fifty (50) different activities including water
games, drama, sports, arts & crafts, archery, swimming, and photography
during theme weeks such as Y Olympics,
Super Heroes, Beach Days, and Weird Science.
Weekly sessions are available June 9 through August 22. The whole
family can join the fun on theme-oriented family nights (*) where everyone
meets for dinner, games and lots of fun. Providing overnight camping
opportunities and field trips gives children exciting experiences while
nurturing individual and group responsibilities. Age
